Quick start (local)
git clone https://github.com/calesthio/OpenMontage.git cd OpenMontage make setup # then open the project in Claude Code / Cursor / Codex and say: # "Make a 60-second animated explainer about how neural networks learn"
Prerequisites: Python 3.10+, Node.js 18+, FFmpeg, and an AI coding assistant. All API keys are optional — add what you have (FAL, Atlas Cloud, ElevenLabs, …) to unlock more tools.
Watch it happen
Chat tells you what the agent said. Backlot shows you what the production is doing — stages light up, the script lands as a screenplay page, scene cards shimmer while assets generate, and every provider decision and dollar spent is on the wall. Hit ▶ REPLAY RUN on the board to scrub a finished production end to end.
